  • Can I pay for my sauna sessions with my HSA card?
Yes! If you're managing a chronic health condition, you may be able to use your HSA or FSA funds to reimburse your sauna session purchases. How does it work? You will need a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN)—a note from your healthcare provider explaining how a sauna supports your condition. With that letter you can submit their Fyre Sauna receipts for reimbursement. Alternatively, you can get a LMN through Truemed by taking a quick health questionnaire (2 min). They will connect you with a provider to assess eligibility. If approved, you will receive a LMN good for 1 year. This LMN allows your sauna session purchases to qualify as a medical expense. *Using HSA/FSA funds isn't a direct discount. The savings come from the fact that these funds are pre-tax, allowing consumers to save an amount equivalent to their usual tax rate. Since tax rates depend on various factors, the savings from using HSA/FSA funds can vary from person to person, typically ranging between 25-40%.
